Gosfield Wind Project is a 50.6 MW wind farm developed by Gosfield Wind Limited Partnership on 6,300 acres of flat farmland in the Town of Kingsville, Essex County.
The Gosfield collector system is a combination of overhead and underground 34.5 kV circuits connecting to the 115/34.5 kV substation adjacent to Hydro One right-of-way. It is connected to Hydro One’s 115 kV circuit K2Z, approximately 5 km north of Kingsville transformer station, to feed into the Ontario electricity market administered by the Independent Electricity system Operator
It is estimated this wind farm will generate over 132,000 megawatt-hours of renewable energy per year.
