Thank you for your interest in RESOP. As of October 1, 2009, RESOP has been replaced by the Feed-in Tariff Program (FIT Program). The Ontario Power Authority will no longer accept new RESOP applications.

This downloadable brochure will provide a general overview of the Renewable Energy Standard Offer Program.
This booklet describes the Renewable Energy Standard Offer Program (RESOP) and how it is helping small renewable energy generators contribute to Ontario’s renewable energy targets.  The booklet includes profiles of renewable energy projects that have been launched under the program and reports the RESOP’s unanticipated success to date.
Before you consider applying for a Standard Offer Contract you should thoroughly review the Program Rules to determine if your project is suitable.
To streamline the process of applying for a contract under the Standard Offer Program, the OPA has provided an online application form.
The contract for the Renewable Energy Standard Offer Program is available for download. Applicants are encouraged to download and review this contract prior to submitting their application.
In areas of the province where the transmission system has limited or no ability to accepted new generation, the Standard Offer Program will establish certain restricted sub-zones.
