The Ontario Power Authority (the “OPA”) on August 29, 2007 filed an application for approval of the Integrated Power System Plan (the “IPSP”) with the Ontario Energy Board (the “OEB”). The OEB will examine the IPSP with regard to cost effectiveness and economic prudence. Questions about the IPSP will be addressed in the OEB proceeding on this application.

The IPSP proceeding at the OEB has not yet commenced, as this requires the application to be formally noticed. Timing for such notice is at the discretion of the OEB but is expected shortly.
