On April 24 2014 the Ontario Power Authority received a directive from the Minister of Energy to develop and implement a new Stream 3 of the Industrial Electricity Incentive (IEI) Program.
Stream 3 of the IEI Program is for new and existing consumers in Ontario that will build a new eligible facility or expand their existing eligible facility, which is located in the Province of Ontario and is carrying on or will carry on an activity that is classified within specific NAICS Canada 2012 sectors.
This Stream of the IEI Program is now closed.

October 30, 2014 – Minor Updates to Baseline Model
Please note that the baseline model has been updated to fix a small error in cell AT2 of the “Historical Data” tab and to resolve a compatibility issue which affected the visibility of dates in column AT of the “Historical Data” tab.

September 10, 2014 - IEI Stream 3 Application Window Opens and Final Program Documents Posted
The IEI Stream 3 Application window is now open. Applications will be accepted between September 10, 2014 to November 10, 2014 at 4:00 p.m. EPT.

Please submit all questions to IEI@ieso.ca. Given that this is a competitive procurement process, the OPA will only be able to provide general clarifications on the program documents (note: questions received may be posted in anonymous fashion to an FAQ section on the website). The OPA is not able to provide specific guidance regarding an individual project.
