This initiative provides assistance to the Ontario Forest Industry Association (OFIA) via four distinct projects:

• an Energy Manager Program for the industry to distribute CDM information to the industry, set up energy benchmarking programs, research best practices and organize workshops;
• a two-phase CDM program, in which Phase One consists of auditing member facilities, identifying opportunities and priorities and providing effective guidance documents to be available to all members, and in which Phase Two consists of company specific audits and evaluations to provide the participating companies with information to help set priorities and make decisions;
• organize a Conservation and Demand Management Conference for OFIA members; and
• produce a best practices report.
