To streamline the process of applying for a contract under the Standard Offer Program the OPA has provided an online application form. The form is accessible through a link at the bottom of this page.

Before you begin filling in the application, you should thoroughly review the Program Rules to determine if your project is suitable for the program. Once you have read and understood the Program Rules, you can apply for a contract as follows:

1. Start an new Application Form:
   Follow the link at the bottom of this page. Enter your email address and create a password which is 8 to 20 characters in length, with at least one character from three of the following types - upper-case letters, lower-case letters, special symbols, and numbers.
2. Fill out online Application Form:
   You will be able to do this in more than one session. You can save your partially completed form and return to it later by clicking on the "Save Draft" button at the bottom of the Application Form. Log in to the form using your Application ID and your Password.  Please save your Application Form at least every 15 minutes.
3. Submit Application Form electronically:
   Once you are satisfied that your Application Form is complete you should click the “Submit Application” button at the bottom of the Application Form.
4. Print Application Form:
   You will need to print out a copy of your completed Application Form.
5. Mail printed Application Form and Application Deliverables to the OPA:
   You must mail your printed Application Form to the OPA along with all required deliverables. Applications are not valid until they are received in paper form at the OPA offices. Your Application must be complete in order to be considered for the Program.

Application Deliverables include the following:

• Authorization Letter – Exhibit “B”
• Connection Impact Assessment (if applicable)
• Evidence of Environmental Assessment requirements (if applicable)
• Evidence of Site Access (if applicable)
• Evidence that your project is already in service (if applicable)
• Attestation for the On-Peak Performance Incentive Payment (if applicable)
• A map showing the location of the Project site in relation to neighbouring roads and lands, drawn to a scale of no less than 1:10,000 and no greater than 1:100,000, and having a size of at least 6 inches by 6 inches
• A description of the proposed connection point for this Project, including a single line electrical drawing showing the connection to the LDC's distribution system

Please ensure that your Application Number is included on each page of the Application Deliverables.

Approximately 45 days after receipt of your completed Application the OPA will contact you with an approval, a clarification request, or a rejection of your application (with reasons).
