The intent of the program is to make it simpler and less costly for operators of small renewable energy generating facilities to participate in Ontario's electricity supply system.

What renewable energy projects and facilities will be eligible? What restrictions, limitations or other requirements will have to be met? What will be the specific terms and conditions of the contract?

Successful applicants under the program will be required to enter into a written contract with the OPA and will be designated as "generators" under the program.
